What a brilliant idea! I lost two grandfathers and an aunt to cancer, and I nearly lost my father to it a few years ago (thankfully he is still in remission!). I currently volunteer with Cancer Connection, an awesome nonprofit in Austin in which we visit patients in hospitals and infusion rooms and do peer-to-peer matching between cancer patients and cancer survivors or family members. It has been so rewarding. I just donated $25 and am happy to help the good cause (and happy to enter a travel-related contest at the same time). Have a lovely birthday :)
